The Stockton Middlesbrough Triathlon, Aug 19th

Trafeco are delighted to announce the arrival of The Stockton Middlesbrough Triathlon, a fantastic new open water event that premieres on August 19th 2007. Situated around the iconic Tees River, the event is based at The Tees Barrage and utilises the paths and roads that surround this magnificent body of water. With the backing of the Stockton Middlesbrough Initiative, and the use of such a magnificent venue, this will be a truly memorable day for everyone involved.
There will be three events available for entry, which are:
Olympic triathlon 1500m swim, 40km cycle, 10km run
Sprint triathlon 750m swim, 20km cycle, 5km run
Team Relay. Three competitors in a team, one per discipline, can tackle either of the distances shown above
This event is a welcome return to large scale triathlons in the North East, and promises to grow year after year. So make sure you get down there and be one of the first!
